scott & kelly carver
SENIOR
PASTORs
Pastors Scott & Kelly met in college and married in 1997. They have three incredible children (Tori, Lucas, and Aiden), and two dogs (Rocco and Chip). They love camping and spending time outdoors. Both Pastors attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Following 15 years of student ministry in Georgia, they felt the call to the Northeast and have been the pastors of Pleasant Valley for the last 10 years. They have developed a deep love for the Pocono’s and truly believe God wants to pour out his Spirit in West End. ​Pastor Scott holds a BA in Pastor Ministries from CBC, a Masters in Leadership from Southeastern University, and will finish a Masters in Divinity from SEU in the spring. ​Pastor Kelly holds a Master of Cosmetology degree and will finish her ministry degree from PennDel School of Ministry in the spring.
Derek & nadeen edwards
FINE ARTS
DIRECTORS
Derek and Nadeen Edwards are the Fine Arts and Music Directors at PVAG. For the past 11 years, Derek has led the worship band and Nadeen has been the worship leader and vocal coach. They are passionate musicians who have spent the last 40 years leading, directing and teaching choirs and worship teams from New York to Pennsylvania. Their goal is to spread the gospel through music and lead people, with the help of the Holy Spirit, into an experience with God that will produce a changed life.
Ashley Schaeffer
Kids Director
Since 2021, Ashley has been serving in all areas of Kids Min at Pleasant Valley. As PV Kids Director, her heart and passion is to introduce and lead as many children and families to the Lord by creating the desire to believe in, follow and accept the saving power of Jesus Christ into their lives. She believes that God has a plan and purpose for every child and is dedicated to nurturing and growing that through children’s ministry. Beginning in September 2024, Ashley will serve as our new Girls Ministry Coordinator as well. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Karl, and precious daughters, Brielle, Bridgette, Isabelle, and Pennelope at the lake nearby their home, the beach, outdoors, day trips and relaxing family time at home playing games, watching movies and reading together.
olga schillinger
CHURCH
ADMINISTRATOR
Olga has worked as the church administrator since 2002. She has been married to Pete Schillinger for over 32 years. She enjoys being a wife, mom, Pastor's helper, and a hairdresser. Most people know how much she loves the hobby of collecting rare teapots that can be used with her loose leaf tea.

She has served as the Missionettes, now Girls Ministries, Coordinator at our church since 2000. She has a passion to teach the young girls about the saving knowledge of Jesus and help them make the right choices in life.
​
She is also the Northeast Girls Ministry Rep., and helps coordinate events with the PennDel Girls District.
